Winning Charity – March 5

Greetings Ladies,
Thank you to all of you who came out last night and participated in our meeting.
It was great to see some new faces joining our group. We started out the night networking with each other and getting to know each other a little better. Then we heard from our winning charity from last meeting and learn where all our donations went.
Lastly, we heard from the nominated charities and picked our winning charity. The winner is Niagara Children’s Centre. Thank you, Mary, for nominating them. Below is a bio about the Centre. I have also included the donation link to send your $100 to.
Please reference 100+ Women Niagara so we can track our total donations.

Niagara Children’s Centre
Helping children and youth “be their best”
At Niagara Children’s Centre, we’re here to help families with their child’s development. We’re like your go-to resource, your one-stop organization, supporting more than 5,900 children and youth in Niagara every year. Whether it’s communicative, developmental, physical and/or behavioural goals, we’ve got it covered.
From the first contact with our Intake team to assessment, treatment planning, and beyond, we’re with you every step of the way. We offer a variety of services, such as speech & language therapy, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and a variety of other specialized programs and supports. We will also connect you with other services in the community you may need. Depending on your child’s needs, services may be provided at one of our convenient locations throughout the Niagara region, at home, at school, or even virtually.
But it’s not just about the child; we’re here for the whole family. We have programs that teach essential skills to support your child, empower you and offer a helping hand. We get that it can be difficult as a caregiver, so we’ve developed innovative programs with experienced caregivers who understand what you’re going through to create real peer-to-peer support.
Our team is known for being caring and professional, delivering world-class, family-centred services. We’re proud to be accredited by CARF International, demonstrating our dedication to the best international practices. So, think of us as your friendly neighbourhood support system, always ready to help children and youth “be their best.”
