Greetings Ladies,
Thank you to everyone who attended our last meeting. A big thank you to Amanda from Women’s Place of South Niagara who provided us with an update on the last meeting winning donations. Another great organization who we were able to help.
This meeting’s winning charity was Victoria’s Quilts presented to the members by Nancy Cook & Marty Hatfield/. Thank you, ladies.
Here is a little about Victoria’s Quilts from Beverley Bellingham.
I again just want to say Thank You so much. Any donations received will be used locally to purchase backing and batting to make the quilts that we deliver to individuals who are living with cancer. As you know this is a completely volunteer run organization so donations like this are so important for us to be able to continue to supply these quilts to individuals.
If anyone has any questions I would be more than pleased to answer them and I encourage individuals to check out the website and if they know of an individual living with cancer and want to sent them a “warm hug” please don’t hesitate to fill out a request form

PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW AND FOLLOW THEM SO THE NIAGARA BRANCH RECEIVES ALL THE MONIES DONATED BY 100+ WOMEN NIAGARA.
Individuals just need to hit the “donate now” button and then where it says “fund” there is a drop down screen and the individuals will need to pick “Hamilton/Niagara branch”. If that isn’t chosen the money will go to the National account instead of being transfer to our branch locally. Also if they put 100+ Women Who Care Niagara, in the message box we will then know that it is from the wonderful women in this group who are supporting us.

Victoria’s Quilts Canada (VQC) provides handmade quilts to people living with cancer in Canada. By providing these quilts, we hope to bring physical comfort to those dealing with cancer as well as spiritual comfort in knowing that they are not alone in their struggle.
