May 2 Winning Charity

Greetings Ladies,
Thank you so much for coming out to our resurrected 100+ Women group last night. It was so nice to see some familiar faces and some new faces too.
I am so excited to see where this will lead. I am thankful and grateful for all your help and support.
A huge thank you goes out to the Grantham Youth Optimist Club for allowing us to use their space for our meetings. Thank you Jonna Wolfenberg, for all your hard work securing this space. We will be meeting here for our meetings in the future.
Last night we heard from these amazing charities, Niagara Safety Village, Red Roof Retreat and Heart Niagara. The winning charity chosen was Niagara Safety Village.

What is Niagara Safety Village?

The Niagara Safety Village is an interactive education centre with a miniature village located on site. The instructors are police officers, auxiliary police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and emergency management team members. The goal is to teach personal safety and injury prevention to school-age children. Students get the chance to participate in different activities, demonstrating all they have learned inside the classroom. The children learn to have fun while being safe!

  • Traffic Safety
